1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing Black Box Academy, registering for modular Visual Effects programs, or utilizing our rendering farm infrastructures, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these provisions, you must not register for courses or utilize classroom stations.

2. Workstation and Lab Rules

Classroom workstations are reserved strictly for registered cohort students. Eating or drinking at the workstation desks is strictly prohibited. Students are expected to handle physical hardware devices (dual 4K displays, Wacom panels, professional keyboards) with maximum care and caution.

3. Software and Asset Licensing

All educational software licenses provided by the Academy (Autodesk Maya, Houdini FX, Unreal Engine, Foundry Nuke) must be used strictly for personal learning and portfolio building. Commercial production on academic licenses is strictly prohibited under developer guidelines.

4. Tuition Fees and Payments

Enrolled students must adhere strictly to their registered payment installation plans. Modular course fees must be cleared prior to mid-term pipeline critiques. Merit-based fee concessions are valid strictly on the condition of maintaining 90% attendance across cohorts.

5. Admissions and Placement

Admissions are governed strictly by portfolio review committees. Black Box Academy coordinates placement audits and industry interviews with local studio partners; however, securing final production employment is subject to the student successfully passing studio evaluations and reels reviews.
